THERE'S AN APP FOR THAT...
Horizon now has its own iPhone App ... and it's free to download. This new application will allow easy access to church information, event listings, news, videos, and audio messages. To download your copy, go to the App Store (or iTunes) and search 'Horizon Community Church' or click here. An Android version is also available - go to the Market and search 'Horizon.' ON COURSE FOR THE FUTURE...
Horizon has purchased acreage along the Little Miami River for its future church location. The church is in the construction phase, aiming to occupy the facility in Jan. 2011. We have exciting news about the property to report. Read details here.
BLUE BAG PROGRAM...
Food pantries are in great need for food this year in light of the financial crisis. Grab a blue bag by the info table, take it with you on your next grocery trip, and fill it with the suggested items. Horizon delivers these bags to City Gospel Mission each month for needy families.

Explorer Service - Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
Horizon's 10:30 Explorer Service offers topical themes that change from month to month. The goal is to bring out interest areas and spiritual themes, relevant to everyday life. The Explorer Service considers broad ranging questions like, "Who is God?" and "What is life all about?" The service uses down-to-earth teaching, upbeat music, and creative multimedia to explore topics like parenting & relationships, world philosophies, decision making, ethics in the workplace, aging, life mapping, and the search for significance. It's an entertaining and comfortable hour where you can explore, while being intellectually and spiritually challenged. Want to hear a message from last week or a previous Sunday? SWITCH: GETTING BACK ON TRACK
A train in motion moves swiftly along a pre-determined path, and since the engineer has little ability to steer, a change in course is only possible by the use of a switch in the track. If the train is headed toward a dead-end, and no switch is available, the results can be catastrophic. The same principle can be true in life; certain decisions head us down dangerous paths. Whether it's our health, our finances, or our spiritual life, knowing how to get on the right course is essential. Join Horizon at 10:30 for SWITCH and get back on track.

The 9:15 Worship Service is designed for those who are maturing in their faith, featuring more traditional expressions of worship, rituals and observances, monthly communion, and extended teaching focused on specific books of the Bible. IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD (AS WE KNOW IT)
Our ability to forgive, give, and love, comes down to one qualifier: "It depends on who it's for." With that objective in mind, Horizon embarks on an ambitious journey through the Book of Revelation, to better understand what the Bible says about Christ and the world's end.
