BELIZE TRIP

Horizon takes a group of medical professionals, builders, and volunteers to Belize each winter to serve the families in Central America. You're invited to join the journey, Jan. 23-29, 2009. For details, contact jkirby@horizoncc.com or call 513-272-5800.

ON COURSE FOR THE FUTURE...
Horizon Community Church has purchased 154 acres along the Little Miami River for its future church location. The land is approximately four miles from Cincinnati Country Day School and is the former site of Indian Valley Golf Course. The church is currently in the design phase, working with architect CDH Partners to create the facility. Read details here.

Connecting With Others Through Groups

Groups are designed to meet the needs of individuals and families with a wide range of relevant and faith-oriented topics. Lively discussion, forming new relationships and exploring Christian faith are what Connecting At Horizon is all about. You'll find relaxed, friendly, and informal discussion at these groups.

Affinity Groups

Horizon's affinity groups allow people who come together for a common interest to get to know others in the community that they might not get the chance to meet on Sundays.

Book Clubs

Horizon's book Clubs bring people together to connect with each other as they read and discuss a variety of materials. They include biographies to fiction to informative works that deal with topics relevant to everyday life.

Bible Studies

Wherever you are in your study of the Bible, Horizon offers opportunities for you to explore in a setting suited for you. From "beginner" 101 groups that require no background or home study, "intermediate" 201 groups or "advanced" 301 level studies. Explore, read and study God's timeless wisdom. Horizon Bible Studies focus on how we can apply the Bible to our lives today.

Getting connected with the information flow at Horizon is easy but it is always up to you. Horizon is a place to connect or to be anonymous, dive in or hang back because Horizon is "Yours to Explore."

General and specialized mailings

When important news or events occur, Horizon sends mail to those who have given a mailing address for that purpose. News that anyone who attends regularly would like to know - like our recent announcement of the purchase of land for a new facility. No one will be knocking at your door unless you specifically invite that.

At Horizon, one of the core values is making it comfortable to connect or explore without losing control. Just take a moment to fill in a Connect Card on Sunday. Letting Horizon know who is in your family will help allow for specialized news such as CREW for junior highs or CRASH for high school or a tea for 4th grade girls, etc.
